Social media is becoming a popular marketing platform for many businesses. It offers the chance to connect one on one with your customers and is a great way to target specific groups of people.

When companies review their social media marketing tactics, they often only concentrate on gaining follows, likes or reviews but there is another way that social media can get you business.

Be sure to have a search around for groups / individuals that may be looking for the product or service you offer. You my just stumble across a comment where someone requires something that your company can provide. Join as many selling / business groups as possible and (if allowed as per group rules) post a link to your Facebook / Twitter / LinkedIn etc page stating briefly what it is your company does.

Be sure to respond as quickly as possible to any messages as this will show people that you are active and are keen to reply to queries quickly.
